Hey y’all! I’m Michelle, the messy painter, sawdust-covered soul, and creative mind behind Kiowa Roots Designs. I didn’t go to art school or study design. I just love making beautiful things with my hands and bringing joy into people’s homes—so here we are!
Yep, I started this business in my 50s.—because why not?! Midlife crisis? Nope. Midlife DREAM! It’s NEVER too late to chase a dream, pick up a paintbrush, or create something beautiful.
Every sign, every decor piece, every DIY kit is hand-cut, rough-sanded, painted, and distressed by me and my husband. That means no two pieces are exactly alike—just like us imperfect humans, a little rough around the edges but still made with love.
Because let’s be real, the best things in life have a few dents and scratches!
